I Love You

from my pen bleeds the hurt

a river of anguish and despair

that has lingered and festered

long after you first said to me

those words that gave me hope

that perhaps I meant to you

what you had always meant to me

      I can’t tell you what it means to hear someone say that! Poetry has always been a writing form that has alluded me, but I’ve worked to become more competent in it.

        Your poetry is really beautiful and writing an effective poetry is quite difficult sometimes but the way you write them, it really makes a person to feel so many emotions.

        I think writing poetry at night helps because my mind has less of a filter, and this allows me to just run with ideas that pop into my head.
